Knog Blinder 900 & 1300 Safety Recall


Why is this product dangerous?
Due to a fault with the battery cells, the product may suddenly catch fire or combust which
can cause burns, serious injuries or damage to property.
Knog has identified that four batches of production of our Blinder 900 and 1300 bicycle lights were made using battery cells that have compromised chemistry.
The problem batch % is very small - with a defect rate of 0.035%.

How to find the batch code?
Batch code is found on the base of the light body.
The affected batch codes are:
- 0423AA
- 0723AA
- 0923AA
- 1123AA
All Blinder 900 and Blinder 1300 made with batch codes not listed above, have new batteries - sourced from an alternative supplier and can be considered safe to use.
